APPLICATIONS
Where does filtration requirement come from ?
The need to filtrate takes origins in the saving concept, but not only in this.
You can filtrate:
- Because it is ethical to the environment protection
- To increase the used liquid quality stopping contaminating particles from being re-introduced into the usage circle.
- To increase the equipment and instrumentation duration
- To use various times the same liquid increasing its recovery value
- To recycle the waters used in Production
- To recover rain waters
- To reduce the Industrial / Irrigations plants maintenance costs.
- To reduce the maintenance costs of those plants in which fluids in general are used
- To easy the waste disposal in certain industrial manufacturing contests.

Sediments or suspended substances
Filtrations is a process that comes before or after other chemical/physical/biological processes on liquids like water, in special way, but also on other liquids.
In our case, filtration takes places for solids mixed in liquids. Such solids can have the following features:
- Sediments features:
Sediments, given to their characteristics and natural chemical/physical features , their specific weight and dimension, tend to deposit at the liquids’ bottom.
For instance, sand or gravel for water, metal residuals from metal working for lubricating or emulsifier liquids and so on
- In suspension:
Suspended substances do not separate from liquids very easily, it normally takes very long.
For instance, fine clay, iron oxide or organic substances in general.
